Traveling by car

If you are in the PNW and find yourself driving in, you will find plenty of parking in the South Lake Union area. There are many garages as well as plenty of street parking.

Check out Parkopedia for garage locations and prices.

Traveling by plane

SEA-TAC is a great airport to travel in and out of. You can take the train straight into downtown (check out Sound Transit for all the info!), grab an Uber/Lyft, or rent a car if you plan on any adventures outside of the Seattle area.

This hotel is one we recommend for families. They have kitchens in all the rooms, lots of amenities (a lot that are kid focused and friendly), and some rooms have up to 3 separate bedrooms. We have stayed here twice and the layouts are incredible.
